Mechanical Engineering Student | Robotics Enthusiast
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a passion for robotics, autonomous systems, and innovative engineering solutions. I co-founded Locust Dynamics Inc., where I led mechanical design, CAD, prototyping, and electrical systems development for defense technologies. I secured Naval Research Agreements and helped bring cutting-edge autonomous systems to life before leaving to focus on my university studies.
My journey in engineering began with FIRST Tech Challenge, where I served as Lead Engineer for Team 10298 "Brain Stormz," achieving 3× Regional Champion titles and Dean's List Finalist recognition. This experience taught me the importance of design thinking, rapid prototyping, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
I've had the privilege of leading teams to victory, including achieving 1st Place at the Fathomwerx Robot Rodeo and presenting at the prestigious ANTX 2024 naval technology summit. As an Engineering & Robotics Teacher, I've also shared my passion by teaching hands-on courses emphasizing CAD, design thinking, and teamwork to students in Ventura County.
Currently pursuing my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Expected Spring 2029), I'm always excited to take on new challenges in mechanical design, systems integration, and autonomous technologies. I bring a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for innovation to every project.
Led team to design and build an autonomous robot for ships underway, achieving 1st Place in competition. Presented winning project at the prestigious ANTX 2024 naval technology summit, showcasing innovative autonomous systems for maritime applications.
Lead Engineer and Mentor for award-winning robotics team. Designed, built, and programmed competition robots achieving 3× Regional Champion titles and Dean's List Finalist recognition. Currently mentoring students in CAD, strategy, and competition preparation.
Co-founded defense startup developing autonomous systems. Led mechanical design, CAD, prototyping, and electrical systems development. Secured Naval Research Agreement for continued R&D at NBVC facilities. Left to pursue university studies and focus on my engineering education.
